PLANS which could see Pertemps Bees ground sharing with Solihull Moors have got the borough buzzing.
Ambitious plans could see both clubs playing at Solihull Moors' Damson Park and share all profits made.
And the Moors seem happy to let the boys with the oval-shaped ball play in their back yard.
"Solihull's in desperate need of a big sporting complex and if it can come off it will be great for us," said Solihull Moors' chairman Trevor Stevens. "It will also be good for Solihull as a district - it's a great idea as far as I'm concerned,"
The two clubs have been held up in secret talks for three months, and only this week were the details released.
Under the new plans, Damson Park will host a new Sports Partnership to be formed by Solihull Moors Football Club and the Bees.
The ground will be managed independently and operate also as a sporting venue for coaching and the community as a whole.
The deal is close to going through and if successful will see a multi million pound investment go into improving current facilities at the ground.
The Bees have been looking for another home for six years as their Sharmans Cross Road stadium is not adequate for the size of the club and would prohibit them from advancing to the Premiership.
Ian Childs, vice-chairman and the man responsible for overseeing things for the Moors, can't wait for his neighbours to come across.
"The partnership is very exciting," he said. "There may be a few problems but we're going to employ professionals to review the pitch and how we can facilitate both teams. "We, like the Bees, have drawn up a wish list of things we want and it will be great if it can all come off."
