These are the words floating around the Midlands as young Jamie Carney continues to impress on the junior golf circuit.
England selectors have been knocking on his door at Solihull Lodge and a county final at Royal North Devon was the only thing in the way of preventing a second national appearance.
While GCSE results continue to haunt most 16-year-old's, this golfing prodigy is remaining fully focussed on fulfilling his dream.
"I'm going to be playing golf every day now as I'm determined to improve," said the former Lighthall student.
As a member of both Shirley and Moseley Golf Club, the youngster who currently plays off one, had arguably his most successful season in 2007.
A junior course record of 67 in the Shirley Junior Club Championship was quickly followed by another victory in the Shirley Junior Open.
The u16 Warwickshire Boys Champion recorded a win in the Thetford National u16 Champ-ionships to add to his impressive second place finish in the Warwickshire Junior Order of Merit.
But the most notable success was becoming the Midland EGU Champion of Champions, and finishing third in a Daily Telegraph competition in Dubai which attratced more than 43,000 competitors.
The Warwickshire county regular was narrowly pipped to the McGregor Trophy last month but finished a creditable second out of 142 competitors.
Stuart Bottrill, head professional at Shirley Golf Club, has worked with Carney for six years and has high hopes for the youngster.
There is one thing holding him back though - the financial support to help him focus on the sport and progress to the highest level.
