IT'S STILL not too late to join in this year's Knowle and Dorridge Lions' festive charity walk.
The event will be centred around Baddesley Clinton National Trust House on Friday December 30 and everyone is welcome to take part.
In the process people can help raise funds for DebRA, Solihull Mind & Crossroads by downloading a sponsorship form and collecting from friends and family over Christmas, or better still invite them to join in.
Walk organiser Adrian Harris said: "Everybody enjoys some exercise after Christmas to walk off the excesses.
"This year why not get your boots out and walk one of our four, seven or ten-mile signposted routes around the Warwickshire countryside?
"It's free to take part, and many people are very generous during the festive season.
"Do not let the weather forecast put you off.
"We hope for crisp, dry, sunny ideal walking weather, but whatever comes our way we shall have hot mulled wine and mince pies on offer."
Club president Barry Dale added: "Many people will have seen the Channel 4 documentary 'Jonny the Boy whose skin fell off' which highlighted the genetic skin blistering condition, Epidermolysis Bullosa.
"We hope that families will make the festive walk part of their festive calendar and commit to taking part and collect lots of sponsorship over the Christmas period for these very worthy causes."
